About Jon McLeod

Jon McLeod brings an unusually diverse background to real estate, combining luxury residential sales, complex court-directed transactions, business leadership, and years of experience as a licensed boat captain.

Based in Southwest Florida, Jon has spent much of his real estate career working in the Naples and Marco Island markets, where he developed extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in luxury and waterfront real estate. His time as a professional boat captain gave him an intimate understanding of Southwest Florida's waterways, waterfront communities, and boating lifestyle—knowledge that continues to provide valuable perspective when working with coastal and waterfront properties.

Jon's real estate practice also includes a highly specialized area few agents encounter regularly: court-directed and fiduciary real estate. Through his work with bankruptcy trustees, attorneys, estates, guardianships, and other complex situations, he has developed systems for managing transactions in which communication, documentation, timing, and careful coordination are every bit as important as marketing the property itself.

That experience led Jon to develop Case Managed Real Estate™, a platform and process designed specifically for complex real estate matters. Working alongside trustees, attorneys, asset managers, buyers, and cooperating agents has given him a perspective on real estate that extends well beyond the traditional listing and sales process.

Before joining NextHome, Jon also served in real estate leadership, including leading a Keller Williams market center on Marco Island. That experience reinforced his belief that a successful brokerage should provide more than a place for agents to hang their licenses—it should create an environment where experienced professionals can collaborate, build businesses, and develop long-term wealth.
